IN THE CHECKOUT COMMENTS BOX, LET ME KNOW WHAT SLED YEAR, TRACK SIZE, RIDER WEIGHT WITH GEAR. (body weight plus 30 lbs)
This clutch kit works from sea level to Colorado elevations.
Engines of 600 to 800 summits, 2008 REV 600 Summits (including 6 & 8 big bore)
Tracks range from 144 to modded 163 x 2.5" stuffed in a REV chassis.
the first time you roll on the throttle, a big engine feel will come through your handlebars. Your thumb tells you, a tighter connection between the throttle and ground. A pull from deep in the engine starts to tug on your arms as you hang on through twisty trees, following up and down rolypoly hills to long time full throttle pulls.
Lower engine speed at part throttle and press, then bam... 8100~8200~8100, track speed with smooth acceleration.
The kit draws a lot of engine grunt from underneath the hood.
Momentum gained like a longer track in technical riding, breaking fresh snow. Keep the momentum with ability to quickly increase track speed and hold it harder than stock clutching.
Precision throttle control, with longer time at a lower engine speed to make a decision which gives the confidence to go into places you might have before said (Nope, not going today). The kit renews with more track speed to get through compared to getting stuck with stock clutching.
160/340 primary spring
25 gram pin kit (tungsten rods)
SMT helix (button secondary clutch)
It is easy to set the flyweight grams and suggested clicker position, and then the fun part. Go test to check for correct engine speed. It pulls stronnnnnnng!
I promise this.....BANG, 3mph more track speed at elevation than stock at full throttle in the deep snow with the stock gearing.
24.0 grams in clicker 3 for 0~2500 feet.
15.9 grams in clicker 3 for 4500~6500,
13.9 grams in clicker 3 for 8000~10000 feet.
With your stock gearing, the kit will accelerate hard and help maintain track speed as you climb. It is not uncommon to gear down with the use of this clutch kit.
